What is CPC? Cost per click explained
CPC (cost per click) is the average amount paid for each click on an ad.
How is CPC calculated?
CPC = ad spend ÷ clicks
Example
$600 of spend for 1,200 clicks is a CPC of $0.50.
Why does CPC matter for e-commerce?
CPC is set by the auction on search platforms and by CPM and CTR together on social platforms. Lower CPC only helps if those clicks still convert.
How does Posta use CPC?
Posta's agents use CPC when reviewing your accounts and recommending changes. See the AI Google Ads management page for how it fits into your workflow.
