What is CTR? Click-through rate explained
CTR (click-through rate) is the percentage of people who click an ad after seeing it.
How is CTR calculated?
CTR = clicks ÷ impressions × 100
Example
400 link clicks from 25,000 impressions is a CTR of 1.6%.
Why does CTR matter for e-commerce?
CTR is a quick signal of whether the creative and offer are relevant. A falling CTR on the same ad is one of the clearest signs of creative fatigue.
How does Posta use CTR?
Posta's agents use CTR when reviewing your accounts and recommending changes. See the ad hook generator page for how it fits into your workflow.
